For indie hackers

Analytics for indie hackers who'd rather ship than configure GA4.

One script, one dashboard, $9/month. See what brings visitors, what AI says about your product, and which traffic turns into Stripe revenue.

14-day trial · 50K pageviews · From $9/month · AI visibility on paid plans

Solo-builder analytics

You don't need a data platform. You need to know what happened.

You shipped a product. You posted it. Someone visited. Maybe someone paid. Now you're supposed to become a full-time analyst?

Most analytics advice assumes a team: a data engineer, a tag manager, a growth analyst, a BI tool. You have a laptop and a weekend.

GA4 is a second job

Events, parameters, audiences, explorations, consent mode. You can learn it—but that's time you're not shipping.

Four tools, four bills

Traffic in one place, AI mentions in another, Stripe in a third, a spreadsheet in a fourth. The subscription stack eats the margin.

AI is the new “direct”

Someone asks ChatGPT for a tool like yours, clicks through, and arrives as “direct” or “referral.” You can't tell whether AI is helping or hiding.

Analytise is the small stack: one script, one dashboard, the numbers that answer “what should I do next?”

What you get

The whole week, not the whole enterprise.

Traffic

Visitors, pageviews, sessions, bounce rate, average session time, realtime, top pages, entry pages, referrers, UTMs, countries, and devices.

Use it to answer: Where did people come from, and what did they read?

Goals

URL-based goals for signups, trials, purchases, or any thank-you page. See which source and page are linked to the action.

Use it to answer: Did anyone do the thing I care about?

Journeys

Follow the path from source to page to conversion, including time and trigger. See whether people convert in one visit or after a few touches.

Use it to answer: What does a converting visit look like?

Autocapture

Clicks, rage clicks, dead clicks, and form submissions are captured without extra setup. Find the button people fight with and the form they abandon.

Use it to answer: Where is the interface getting in the way?

AI visibility

On a paid plan, track 10 buyer prompts on Starter, scanned monthly. See mentions, share of voice, citations, and competitor gaps across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview.

Use it to answer: Does AI know my product exists?

Revenue

Connect Stripe or Dodo Payments. See revenue, AOV, time to convert, revenue per visitor, revenue by source/country, and AI referral revenue.

Use it to answer: Which traffic actually pays?

Search Console

Connect Google or Bing to see queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position next to your analytics.

Use it to answer: Which search queries are finding me?

API and MCP

Query your analytics from your own tools, or ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor via MCP.

Use it to answer: Can I automate the boring part?

Setup

One hour. Then go back to shipping.

  1. 1

    Minute 0–10: Add the script

Create a website, copy the script tag, and paste it into your site's <head> or framework layout. Works with Next.js, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or any custom site where you can add a script.

    Installation guide →

  2. 2

    Minute 10–20: Set one goal

Pick the one action that matters this month: signup, trial, purchase, or demo. Create a URL-based goal. Don't build a 40-event taxonomy.

  3. 3

Minute 20–30: Connect Stripe or Dodo

If you're charging money, connect your payment gateway. Analytise syncs every five minutes and backfills the last year. If you're not charging yet, skip it and come back later.

    Stripe setup →Dodo setup →

  4. 4

Minute 30–40: Write down three prompts

Write the three questions a buyer might ask before they know you. You'll add them when you move to a paid plan—AI visibility is not part of the trial. Starter includes 10 prompts; start with three.

  5. 5

    Minute 40–50: Connect Search Console

Connect Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools. See queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position next to your analytics.

  6. 6

Minute 50–60: Book a weekly review

Put a 20-minute block on your calendar. Open the dashboard, pick one fix, and close the laptop. That's the habit.

Three prompts to start with

  • best [category] for [audience]
  • [competitor] alternative
  • how do I [job to be done]
Prompts are account-wide; limits are shared across all websites.

Launch week

What to watch before, during, and after launch.

Before launch

  • Install the script and verify pageviews.
  • Set your signup/purchase goal.
  • Connect Stripe/Dodo if you're charging.
  • Write down three AI prompts; add them on a paid plan.
  • Connect Search Console.
  • Write down the one number that would make the launch a success.

During launch

  • Open realtime. Watch visitors, top pages, and referrers.
  • Check AI referrals: are people arriving from ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude?
  • Watch the goal count, not just the traffic spike.
  • Don't refresh the dashboard every five minutes. Ship the launch.

After launch

  • Which source produced the most qualified visitors?
  • Which page got traffic but no goal completions?
  • Did AI refer anyone? Did they convert?
  • What did AI say about your product when you add prompts on a paid plan?
  • What is the one fix for next week?

Start small

Five numbers. One dashboard. No vanity metrics.

1. One goal

Signup, trial, purchase, or demo. Pick the action that would make this month a success. Everything else is context.

2. Three sources

Search, social, and AI referrals. Or direct, newsletter, and referrals. Pick the three channels you're actually working on.

3. Five pages

Your homepage, pricing page, top blog post, top comparison page, and the page where people convert. See which ones earn attention and which ones leak.

4. Three prompts

Category, comparison, and problem. See whether AI knows you exist and whether it recommends a competitor instead.

5. One revenue metric

Revenue or AOV. If you're pre-revenue, use signups. Don't track MRR here; use your billing tool.

What this is not

A small, honest tool—not a fake enterprise suite.

Analytise is website/marketing analytics + AI visibility + payment revenue. It is not:

  • A product analytics platform for in-app events.
  • An MRR, churn, or subscription billing platform.
  • A multi-touch attribution or ROAS platform.
  • A white-label agency reporting tool.
  • A daily AI-search intelligence platform with nine engines.
  • A replacement for your CRM, email tool, or data warehouse.

Also be honest about the AI layer

AI visibility is paid-only, scans three engines, and runs monthly on Starter / weekly on Growth+. It is not a daily enterprise monitor. If you need daily tracking across up to nine engines, use Profound; Otterly fits daily GEO workflows across four engines. If you need a lightweight read on the prompts that matter, Analytise is enough.

Privacy note

Analytise uses two first-party cookies—an anonymous visitor ID (1 year) and a session ID (30 minutes)—plus local/session storage. No third-party cookies. No IP storage. No cross-site profiles. It is not “cookieless.”
