Install the script

Pick your stack. Every guide is a short paste-and-deploy — the base install is always the same one tag, only the place you paste it changes per platform.

Don't see your stack? If your platform lets you add custom HTML to the page <head>, it works — the script is framework-agnostic. Paste it once and you're done.

Add your website

  1. Open the dashboard and click Add website.
  2. Enter your domain — Analytise generates the snippet with your data-site-id.
  3. Copy the snippet and paste it into your site (per the guide above).

Snippet attributes

  • data-domain (optional) — the canonical domain of your site. Useful when the same snippet runs on preview/staging domains.
  • data-site-id — your site id from the dashboard.

One tracker per page

Load the script exactly once. A second copy would double-count pageviews and heartbeats.

Verify it works

  1. Open your website in a new tab.
  2. The dashboard shows your visit under online within a few seconds (live visitors update every ~15s).
  3. Pageviews and referrers appear on the Pages and Traffic acquisition cards after a refresh.
