Where Plausible wins

It's open source

You can inspect the code, self-host it, and run it on your own infrastructure. Analytise is a hosted product; it is not open source.

It's EU-hosted

Plausible is built and hosted in the EU. If EU data residency is a hard requirement, that matters. Analytise does not advertise EU hosting; check the current DPA/privacy policy before assuming.

It's cookieless

Plausible uses no cookies and no persistent identifiers. Analytise uses two first-party cookies. If “cookieless” is non-negotiable, Plausible wins.

It has a mature privacy brand

Plausible has been in the privacy analytics market for years and is widely used. That trust is earned, and Analytise is newer.

It has agency features

White-label, shared links, and embedded dashboards on Business. Analytise does not offer white-label branding.

It has a 30-day trial

Plausible's trial is twice as long as Analytise's 14-day trial.

It includes funnels/revenue on Business

Plausible Business ($19/month) includes funnels, user journeys, ecommerce revenue attribution, custom properties, and a Stats API. That's a strong package for the price.

If open-source, EU hosting, cookieless analytics, or white-label reporting are non-negotiable, choose Plausible. Analytise doesn't pretend to match those.

Where Analytise wins

It tracks prompt-level AI visibility

Plausible shows AI referral traffic. Analytise goes further: it runs your buyer prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview and shows mentions, share of voice, sentiment, average position, citations, and competitor gaps.

That's a different question. Plausible tells you who arrived from AI; Analytise tells you what the answer said before they arrived.

It syncs Stripe/Dodo revenue

Analytise connects to Stripe with a restricted key or to Dodo Payments, creates revenue conversions, syncs every five minutes, and backfills the last year. It shows revenue, AOV, time to convert, revenue per visitor, revenue by source/country, and AI referral revenue.

Plausible's ecommerce revenue attribution is a Business feature; it is not a native Stripe/Dodo sync. If you want payment revenue next to traffic with less setup, Analytise is built for that.

It includes 50K pageviews at $9

Plausible Starter is $9/month for 10K pageviews. Analytise Starter is $9/month for 50K pageviews. That's 5× the pageview allowance at the entry price.

It includes unlimited websites

Every Analytise plan includes unlimited websites. Plausible's Starter includes one site; Growth three; Business ten.

It bundles the three questions

Traffic, AI answers, and revenue in one dashboard. Plausible is excellent at traffic and privacy; it does not run prompt-level AI visibility.

Analytise wins on the combined job and the entry-level pageview allowance. If you only need privacy-first web analytics, Plausible may be the better—and more mature—choice.

The honest read

Plausible has the stronger “cookieless” story. Analytise has a strong first-party story: only two first-party cookies, no third-party cookies, no IP storage, no cross-site profiles. If your legal/privacy requirement is “no cookies at all,” choose Plausible. If “first-party only, no third-party tracking” is acceptable, Analytise can fit.

We don't make a blanket “GDPR compliant” claim. Compliance depends on your setup, notices, and jurisdiction. Talk to your counsel.

Migration and coexistence

You don't have to rip out Plausible to try Analytise.

  1. 1

    Run both scripts

Add the Analytise script alongside Plausible. Compare visitors, pageviews, sources, and goals for a few weeks.

  2. 2

    Recreate the goals that matter

Set up URL-based goals for signups, trials, demos, and purchases. Start with the five that drive decisions, not every event.

  3. 3

    Connect payments

Connect Stripe or Dodo Payments. If you use another provider, send custom conversion events with value, currency, and transaction ID.

  4. 4

    Add AI prompts

Upgrade to a paid plan and add 10 prompts (Starter) or 30 (Growth+). Start with category, comparison, and problem prompts.

  5. 5

    Decide based on the job

If you need open-source/EU/cookieless/white-label, keep Plausible. If you need AI visibility and native revenue sync in the same dashboard, keep Analytise. Running both is a valid long-term choice for some teams.

Questions, answered.

Keep the privacy. Add the AI and revenue context.

Start your 14-day trial and see whether the analytics and revenue dashboard fits your workflow. AI visibility is included on paid plans, not in the 14-day trial. If open-source, EU hosting, or cookieless analytics is non-negotiable, stay with Plausible—we'd rather you choose the right tool.
