Install Analytise on WooCommerce

WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so the install is identical — plus one snippet for order tracking.

Install the tracker

Follow the WordPress guide — any of the three options (header-injection plugin, theme edit, or functions.php hook) picks up your shop pages, cart and checkout automatically:

<script
  defer
  data-domain="yourwebsite.com"
  data-site-id="YOUR_SITE_ID"
  src="https://www.analytise.com/js/tracker.js"
></script>

Track completed orders

Fire a conversion on the order-received (thank-you) page so each completed order lands on the Conversions page:

thankyou.php (theme override)
<?php if (isset($order)) : ?>
<script>
  window.analytise && window.analytise.trackConversion({
    event: "purchase",
    transaction_id: "<?php echo esc_js($order->get_order_number()); ?>",
    value: <?php echo esc_js($order->get_total()); ?>,
    currency: "<?php echo esc_js($order->get_currency()); ?>"
  });
</script>
<?php endif; ?>

No PII in the payload: stick to order id and total — skip customer name, email and address.

Verify it works

  1. Open your website in a new tab.
  2. The dashboard shows your visit under online within a few seconds (live visitors update every ~15s).
  3. Nothing showing? See Troubleshooting.
